Born as a means to watch rarely screened artist films in their original format. This film programme was assembled in 5 parts, each exploring different aspects in the formation of avant garde cinema, from the 1960 to the present. Films were loaned from artist's own archives, along with those from New York, Paris and London.
The five part series culminated with a debut screening and Q&A of two new works by Nathaniel Dorsky at the cinema museum in Kennington, London.
A screen printed poster was designed for each show and are available to purchase at the Close-Up Film Centre on Brick Lane, East London.
